ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Entrants to the 11287NAT Diploma of Artificial Intelligence (AI) must:
Possess technological literacy (ability to use and access a computer with word processing and internet-based applications)
Have access to appropriate technology to allow them to complete the qualification. This includes a computer with a reliable internet connection and browsing ability, word processing applications such as Word and spreadsheet applications such as Excel.
Entrants should have completed Year 11 or equivalent. It is recommended entrants have well-developed language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) skills relevant to the context of their existing or planned work role.
Entrants should be able to read and write English at approximately a year 11 level to be able to assimilate the information provided in the course, read complex instructions, and write competently and accurately.
It is recommended that students have an initial interview to assess their individual learning needs and their language, literacy and numeracy skills. It is also suggested that an interview is undertaken to assess each student’s skills and aptitude for the course.
