ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Entrants to the 11130NAT Certificate IV in Environment Sustainable Management (Cert IV.ESM) must:

  • Completed Australian Year 10 or equivalent, or Certificate III

  • IELTS 6.0 or equivalent for non-native English speakers

  • Be aged over 16 for Domestic Students and over 18 for International Students.

  • Technological literacy (ability to use and access a computer with word processing applications).

  • Learners must have access to appropriate technology, including a computer with reliable internet connection, web browsing capability, and applications such as Word and Excel.

  • Well-developed LLN skills relevant to the context of the learner’s existing or planned work role.

  • It is recommended that students have an initial interview to assess their individual learning needs and their language, literacy and numeracy skills. It is also suggested that an interview is undertaken to assess each student’s skills and aptitude for the course.
